Introducing My Mini Vlog: Day by Day Celebrating My Birthday in Dubai
There’s something magical about celebrating your birthday in a beautiful destination with your best girlfriends. This year, I decided to do just that, and I’m so excited to share my mini vlog series of our unforgettable trip to Dubai! Each day brought new adventures, laughter, and cherished moments, and I can’t wait to take you along for the ride.
Day 1: Pyjamas, Burj Khalifa, and the Perfect Welcome
After a grueling 30-hour journey, I finally touched down in Dubai in the early morning hours. With some time to kill before check-in, I made my way to the pool at The Intercontinental Residences Business Bay and soaked in the city vibes while waiting for our suite to be ready. I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay—the accommodation was absolutely perfect for our group!
I booked two spacious suites, each featuring two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and a beautifully furnished balcony with stunning Burj Khalifa and canal views. Since the hotel had just opened in September 2024, everything was brand new and top-of-the-line—from sleek appliances to Byredo toiletries. Each room even had its own temperature control and built-in Bluetooth speakers, which made our stay extra comfortable and luxurious.
Welcoming the Girls with Gifts
One of the most exciting parts of the day was putting together welcome gift bags for each of my girls! I wanted to show my appreciation for them joining me on this special trip, so I curated thoughtful goodies that would be both practical and sentimental. Each girl received:
A personalized Turkish beach towel (a major hit and super useful all week!)
Shin Ramyun (because comfort food is a must!)
A camel bag charm as a sweet memento of our upcoming camel-riding adventure

The excitement only grew as everyone started arriving at different times throughout the day. The last girl touched down late in the evening, and by then, we were all set for our first night together. I had planned a pyjama party as our low-key yet cozy way to kick off the trip, and honestly, it was one of my best ideas yet!
We all changed into our matching satin PJs, gathered in our beautiful suite, and indulged in some ultimate comfort food—gourmet Shake Shack burgers. Since not everyone on the trip knew each other beforehand, I designed conversation cards in Canva to help break the ice. The cards had a mix of fun and thought-provoking questions, ranging from lighthearted icebreakers to spicy and even deep, soulful topics.
It turned out to be such a fantastic way to connect! By the end of the night, we were no longer just a group of girls on a trip—we were friends sharing genuine, heartfelt moments. We laughed, opened up, and truly got to know one another in a way that made the rest of the trip feel even more special.
